DVDStyler: DVDs with style
On more than one occasion I've found with several movies or video recordings and do not know what to do with them. How about creating a custom DVD menus to enjoy your videos in an original and fun?
Join us in this tutorial where you learn to use DVDStyler , a program that will help you create your own DVD menus and burn it in a few steps.
Previous scheme
If the DVD you're going to record is not very complex and only a couple of windows, it is not necessary, but in most ambitious projects is highly recommended to prepare an outline of the order and structure of the menus. A simple paper and pencil are more than sufficient.
DVDStyler works basicamentecon two elements: Menu and Title. The menu is for the screen that you see on your DVD player with letters, pictures and buttons to access the video. The title is the video itself, and its management will depend on how complete is your DVD player.
Please note that titles should be linked in a menu, and each menu will be bound to the previous menu, from a main menu.
Welcome / Create a new DVD
The first step is to download DVDStyler, as Windows or Linux . Once installed, every time you open DVDStyler will see the following window.
Choose to create a new project or open an existing one. In our case we want a 4.7 GB DVD standard quality, PAL (European), aspect 16:9 (for our brand new widescreen TV) and AC3 audio.
Main Window
In DVDStyler working from the bottom panel, where you will see a thumbnail of the menus and titles, and main panel, which you can add multimedia files such as videos and images and backgrounds and buttons makes you DVDStyler. As easy as dragging and dropping.
To add a new menu or title you just have to click the right mouse button on the bottom of DVDStyler and select Add.
To add items to the menu, just right-click and choose the Add option. You can put text, text shadow, an image, a video, a rectangle or ellipse.
Do not worry if you have many things, then you can organize them into first, second or third place with the option to organize, also available from the right mouse button.
Personalize to your taste
Each item included in the menu has its own configuration options. Either double-click the mouse or the shortcut menu (right click and click Properties.)
For example, in the Properties menu you can change the format and appearance, choose a color or even add your own background.
You can also include a soundtrack, MP2 or AC3 format (with the option Loop will be repeated forever) and decide what kind of menu is (Root, Chapter, Audio ,...).
In the case of post text, you can customize the color and shading, where it appears, the font and font size.
And a video link, you will have the option to indicate the title refers, whether to include an image as a thumbnail, if you have a frame, and what color and size.
Recording your masterpiece
When you have completed your project, and is only into a DVD for viewing on a computer or DVD player.
No need any extra application, as DVDStyler is responsible for converting audio and video for your DVD has the standard structure in VOB format.
DVDStyler allows you to save the DVD as an ISO image or burn a physical DVD. The process does not last long, and the result you can see it instantly.
