Justin IDF summit demonstrates the application of wireless power
Imagine carrying a laptop into the airport or room, it no longer needs batteries, but give the battery. This is not a dream, August 22, 2008, Intel CTO Justin (Justin Rattner) in the current Intel Developer Forum to show the application of wireless power.
According to the Massachusetts Institute of principle raised by physicists, Intel researchers have been studying wireless resonant energy link (WREL) technology. Justin demonstrates without any plugs or wires to 60-watt light bulb lit the wonderful moment, fully meet the general notebook computer's power requirements.
According to reports, WREL's charm lies in its ability to secure, efficient wireless power. The technology relies on a set of strong coupled resonators, the principle is similar to a trained singer with a voice broken glass vibration. When faced with receiving resonator's natural frequency, energy will be effectively absorbed, the principle and the glass absorption consistent with its natural frequency of the sound energy the same.
If the technology can be achieved, then the laptop away from the transmitter resonator few feet away can charge the battery. While there are many engineering problems to be solved, but Intel researchers hope to find the final removal of mobile devices means a connection, and one day in the future to achieve the Intel platform, the wireless power supply.
Hubei Xiangfan Power Project

Under the agreement, Henan Branch will actively make a new set of hydropower project in Xiangfan preparatory work, and strive to project approval in late 2008. At the same time, steadily carrying out other new and renewable energy projects in the preparatory work.
Deputy Secretary-General Office of the Government of Hubei Province Lu Yan base of Xiangfan City Deputy Mayor Shi really strong, deputy general manager of Henan Branch to pay, Chen Rong, attended the signing ceremony.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Yang met with Li Xiansheng. The two sides to develop power projects in Hubei Province to conduct talks.
